At the end of most UNREPs there was an emergency breakaway drill. It actually wasn't really that different for us than a regular breakaway. We pulled our hose back and then they released the cable the hose is riding on. If they guys on the ship get a little antsy then they may release the cable too soon, then our hose ends up in the water and the deck crew has more work to do. And it could possibly wrap our prop.
