Ok, so its been awhile again.  I just finished up my second hitch on the WestPac Express, I had a good time and a lot of stuff got done since we didn't really do many trips.  Some old crew left and will be missed and some new crew members came and are starting to get into the swing of things.  We had a couple of awesome cadets this time and I hope they have the best of luck with the rest of their schooling and maybe come back and sail with us when they get their paperwork.  I'm hanging out in Houston right now visiting one my best friends who's in training at ABS to be an Offshore Installation new-build surveyor.  Getting to peruse some of her books is making me jealous, its really interesting stuff.  Hopefully this will give me motivation to finish my schooling.  I'm heading up to Maine on Sunday and hoping to start finishing the last three classes I need for my systems degree independent study like so I can keep my sweet job and finish my degree.
